Month's cash
What I have, what I will receive, what I will pay and what I close the month with — and what is due this week.

What this screen is for
To answer, without a spreadsheet, the question the owner asks every day: will I have money at the end of the month or not? The screen shows four numbers — I have today, I will receive, I will pay, I close with — and the list of what is due in the next seven days. Nothing to type: it all comes from the payables and receivables already in Tenka.
Rules
Where the numbers come from
"I have today" is what was already received minus what was already paid (settled bills). "I will receive" and "I will pay" are open bills due by the last day of the month — overdue ones count, because late money is still money coming in or going out. "I close with" is have + receive − pay. They are exactly the numbers of the full cash flow (DFC); if they ever diverge, it is a defect.
Overdue shows separately
A bill due before today and still open counts in the month and also appears on the overdue line, with count and total. It is the list to chase in the morning. "See who is overdue" opens the collections ruler.
This screen saves nothing
Every button leads to the screen that already does the job: enter a bill, see the open ones, open the DFC. A second place to enter money would diverge from the first within a week.
Overdue and what falls due this week
The week list has two groups. Overdue shows what has already fallen due and has not been settled, oldest first, with how many days late each one is. Falls due this week shows only what is due from today to seven days from now. Overdue items are still included in what you will receive and pay by the end of the month.
Frequently asked questions
The number differs from my bank statement. Why?
Because "I have today" is the cash REALIZED in Tenka — what you settled as paid or received. If a payment left the bank and was not settled here, the screen does not know. Connect the bank account (Connected accounts) or reconcile the statement so both match.
Nothing shows under "due this week"
Then nothing is due in the next seven days — or the bills were entered without a due date. A bill without a due date enters none of the four numbers; fix the date in the transactions list.
