Quem calcula é o sistema; o Tenkai só escreve
Variance, the weight of each line in the deviation, the ranking of contributors and the cause come from the code, in checkable arithmetic. Tenkai receives those lines already calculated and ties them together into sentences. It does not see the database, does no math and does not pick a culprit — if the calculated cause says the deviation is spread out, that is what the sentence says.

Before it appears on screen, the text is checked: every figure quoted must exist in the calculated lines. If one appears that does not exist — or a link, which Tenkai must never build — the wording is discarded and the raw facts remain, with the reason visible. This is ugly on purpose: the alternative is a nice sentence with a number nobody can check, and that is how a model once wrote "fell 19.8% compared with July" with data that had no July.

A month with no budget did not deviate 100%: it has nothing to compare against, and the screen shows "—" in the percentage instead of a plausible number. A budgeted line with no entries at all is not a 100% saving either — it may be the wrong accrual period, an unclassified entry or a purchase that did not happen, and each of the three calls for a different check.

It comes without the figures, with percentages, counts and the cause of each line — never with a mask in the middle of a sentence explaining money, which informs nothing and looks like a bug. Whoever manages access for your account can unlock the values.

In the "Proof of the number" column each line brings the entries that formed the value, one by one, with a direct link to each entry. The "Open this line's entries" link opens the full list for that nature — it is broader than the month, and the screen says so right beside it. When there is no path that reproduces the selection exactly, the number is declared as an aggregate: a link that opens and does not match undermines trust in all the others.

Past the configured limit, the watch delivers the alert with the explanation and the action to whoever has access to this screen — bell, push and email. The amount does not travel in the alert text: whoever cannot see values receives the same alert without the figure. The same finding does not repeat in the same week, and comes back the next week if nobody dealt with it.
