What this screen is for
The garment maker ships by rolls and by grid, and the ordinary shipping screen only knew "item". The result was the carrier leaving with the load without a document describing it, and the customer checking in the dark. Here the packing list lists roll by roll, with lot and weight, and piece by piece, with size and color.

How to

Cartons and pallets with SSCC in the packing list
In the Cartons, pallets and shipping notice tab of the saved packing list: save once the company prefix licensed by GS1; say how many pieces go in each carton and how many cartons per pallet; click Build cartons and pallets. Each unit gets an 18-digit SSCC that never repeats, and Download labels creates the thermal printer file with the GS1-128 barcode.
Book the unloading at the retailer DC
In the GS1 tab of the shipping list, after generating the advance shipping notice, book the unloading with what the retailer DC portal gave you: pick the notice, the window (date and time), the dock and the booking reference, and tap Book unloading. The DC unloading column shows each notice booking; when the window is after the order promised delivery, "after the promised delivery" appears — negotiate another window before it becomes a fine.

Rules

Closing lowers the stock
While OPEN, the packing list is a draft and you can change it freely. On CLOSING, each roll becomes ISSUED and each grid line goes out by variant. That's what separates this document from a spreadsheet: the paper and the stock tell the same story.
Reabrir exige motivo — e estorna
A closed packing list has already issued stock and has possibly already traveled. Reopening returns the goods to the balance and records the reason. Reopening without reversing would leave stock with the issue and the paper saying the load didn't leave — the difference is born there and drops off the radar.
Um rolo viaja uma vez só
The same roll can't go into two packing lists. If it's already in another one, the screen says which. Without this lock, the roll would leave twice on paper and the double issue would only show up in the inventory count, months later.
List, document and lines
The list has search, a status filter and trash; click a packing list to open the document. Save the header (the customer is required; the number is generated if left blank) and, in the Lines and closing tab, add rolls or pieces — each line is saved right away. Volumes and weight are calculated from the lines. Once closed, the packing list accepts no changes and cannot go to the trash: reopen it with a reason, which reverses the stock deduction.
The shipping notice checked against the order
Generate and check the notice compares, item by item, what the order asks with what is in the cartons: shortage, excess, an item not in the order and a carton without a pallet become written discrepancies. Only a checked notice can be marked as sent; a discrepant one waits for the cartons to be fixed and the notice generated again. The notice file lists every carton and pallet with its SSCC.

Frequently asked questions

Volumes e peso são digitados?
No. Both always come from the sum of the lines. A number of packages typed by hand drifts away from the content — and whoever checks the load believes the paper.
