What this screen is
Tagging and custody of fixed assets: who has each asset, since when and under which term. Handing over opens possession (check-out); returning closes it (check-in). It does not change the asset record — it only records possession.

An asset has at most ONE active custody at a time — handing it over again automatically closes the previous one, so there's no need to return it before passing it to someone else.

Clicking the history icon brought nothing: the window stayed blank and the title lacked the asset's name — and, depending on the case, it could repeat what was there the previous time. Nothing warned you: the screen responded normally, with no error. It's fixed. If you tried to check an asset's history before this version and concluded it had no movement, check again — the information existed, it just didn't reach the screen.
