Living segmentation
Instead of opining on where to invest, the matrix positions each segment by what finance recorded: revenue growth between two periods × actual margin.

What it's for
Answer "which segment to double down on" with a number, not a guess. Each segment becomes a bubble: horizontal axis = real margin, vertical axis = revenue growth, size = revenue for the period.
How to
The numbers on top, the records below
The panel’s indicators stay at the top; below, the standard list with the records behind them — search, filters in the side panel, saved views, columns and export. Click a record to open its form.
Rules
Where the numbers come from
Revenue = REVENUE items from segment customers in the chosen window (period by due date, trash excluded). Growth = current window × previous window of the same size. Margin = (revenue − expenses recorded with the linked customer) ÷ revenue. The calculation memory shows everything openly.
Segment is a record, not free text
Segments live in their own registry (with a written criterion) and each customer points to one of them. During migration, the old text field "segmento" of customers automatically became a registry entry. The screen itself lists customers without a segment and lets you classify them on the spot.
Honest margin requires linked cost
If the company doesn't record expenses with the linked customer, the displayed "margin" is just the revenue — and the screen WARNS about this in the calculation memory instead of pretending precision. The more cost with an owner, the more honest the axis.
Frequently asked questions
What about the segment's leads?
The "search leads from this segment" link opens the leads list. Since the lead doesn't carry a structured segment yet, the list arrives complete — use the search by segment/industry name. Once the external prospecting database exists, the link will arrive pre-filtered.
