Planned × actual
The plan keeps the target, the OTB and the planned references; actuals come from the collection’s items (produced, sold, revenue). The tabs show sell-through with a verdict, pre-sale by grid, P&L by channel and forecast.
Statistical item forecast
It uses daily sales from orders and the till over the last 52 weeks and learns the weekly rhythm (strong Saturday, weak Sunday). It is redone every week; "Recalculate" redoes it right away. An item with less than 8 weeks of sales gets no forecast and shows "no history".
How to
What if the cost goes up?
In the shock tab, choose the cost group (raw material, trims, labor, subcontracting, overheads) and the percentage: the list shows each piece’s margin after the shock and the price that restores it.
Rules
One plan per collection
Each collection has a single plan. Lines are edited with the pencil (dialog) and "Pull approved" brings the collection’s approved pieces as plan lines.
How much of the collection OTB is already committed
In the collection plan, next to the target, you see the OTB committed (production orders for the collection products and purchase orders for its items) and the open balance. Over budget, the balance turns red. Without an OTB in the plan, the screen asks you to enter it. Ask Tenkai how much of the OTB has been used.
Forecast by size and colour
The "By size and colour" column comes from register sales and from orders that carry the variant. A size with less than 8 weeks of sales shows "—", because the forecast does not split the item's total to make numbers up. An item sold without a size grid shows only the item forecast.
Frequently asked questions
What is the forecast's measured error?
The system hides the last 4 weeks, forecasts them and compares with what actually sold: it is the average percentage error over those days. The lower, the more reliable. The replenishment suggested in Test and replenish does not exceed the forecast for the horizon; without a forecast, it works as before.
