What the Warp beam is for
Each beam has a number and its whole story: warping (meters, ends, breaks at the warper and the yarn with the spinning mill's lot — through it the trace reaches the bale), sizing (size recipe, declared pick-up and sized weight), indigo (rope or slasher dyeing, with the dye lot) and the beam's shade against the standard. Saving the yarn used with the warehouse takes the yarn out of stock with its lot at once.

Rules

Sizing has to balance in weight
The sized weight never exceeds the yarn used plus the declared size and dye: above that Tenka refuses and asks you to check the weighing or declare the add-on. The real pick-up shows next to the declared one. The beam must also have the same ends as the style — the whole warp goes on one beam.
Yarn without a balance does not go on the beam
When you save the warp beam, the yarn leaves stock with its lot. If the warehouse has no balance of that yarn, the beam is not saved and the message says what is missing.

Frequently asked questions

Why wasn’t the warp beam saved?
One of three: the warehouse has no stock of the yarn (the beam consumes the yarn with its lot), the sized weight exceeded the yarn plus the declared size and dye, or the beam does not have the same ends as the article. The message says which.
