What the loom camera saw
The loom camera (with the supplier's software or the factory equipment) detects the defect on the spot and sends Tenka only the fabric crop, with the machine, the roll, the position in metres and the code it suggests. Each event comes in here linked to the defect catalog; the inspector looks at the crop and confirms or discards.
How to
Confirm or discard
Open the defect, look at the crop on the Fabric crop tab and choose the catalog defect (without a choice, the camera's suggestion stands if the code exists in your catalog). Confirming stores the label in Tenkai's learning; discarding says the camera was wrong. Defects only arrive from the camera: nothing is created or deleted here.
Rules
The crop goes; the label stays
The crop is kept for a short time (30 days, adjustable per company) and then deleted; the defect, the position and the confirmed label stay. Tenkai's learning keeps only the label — never the photo — and nothing goes to another company or to train anyone's model.
Camera on the fabric, never on people
Point the camera at the fabric and let the people who work at the loom know. Tenka does not recognize people and only receives the defect crop. Stopping the loom is a rule of the factory equipment: Tenka only shows and warns.
Frequently asked questions
When does Tenkai read the crop?
Only when the company allows it: in the setting for Tenkai readings per loom per hour (the default is zero, and then the camera's code stands). With the setting on, the Ask Tenkai to read it button uses your company's AI account, within its monthly cap, and the result is only a suggestion for the inspector.
