Artigo plano*Como a fábrica chama o artigo: "Denim 14 oz sarja 3/1 índigo".

What the Woven style is for
It is the recipe of the woven fabric: the weave (plain, twill, satin), how many ends the warp has, ends and picks per centimeter, reed and greige width, weight and selvedge. With it the warp beam knows how many ends to carry, the loom knows how many meters come out per shift and the Weaving mill screen tells when the beam runs out. The warp and weft yarns stay in the style's yarn recipe, each with its role, and show in the Style yarns tab.

Rules

The number of ends must add up
Tenka refuses the style when the number of ends differs by more than 5% from ends per cm × greige width, and when the reed width is smaller than the greige width (fabric only shrinks after the reed). Warp crimp is the length the yarn loses when it becomes fabric: the screen uses it to work out how many meters of fabric the beam still gives.

Frequently asked questions

Why was the article refused?
The number of warp ends must match ends per centimeter times the greige width (up to 5% difference), and the reed width cannot be smaller than the greige width. Check these three numbers.
