What this screen is for
To know, before selling, what the piece really costs and what to charge for it. The screen reads the reference's tech pack (fabric, trims, sewing time), adds what the sewing shop charges and the share of fixed expenses, applies taxes, commission and the margin you want, and returns: cost, suggested price, minimum price, what is left per piece and how many pieces a month pay the bills.
Rules
The maths is the trade's spreadsheet — with one detail
Price = cost ÷ (1 − taxes% − commission% − margin%). It is a DIVISOR markup: 40% margin means 40% OF THE PRICE stays with you, not 40% on top of cost. On a R$ 30 blouse the difference between the two is R$ 8. If the percentages add up to more than 100%, there is no price and the screen refuses.
Minimum price is zero margin
It is the price at which you neither lose nor gain after paying cost, taxes and commission. Any discount that takes the price below it is a loss per piece. If today's list price is already below the minimum, the screen warns in red.
Consumption changes with size
XL uses more fabric than S. Choosing the size/colour, the consumption factor registered on the variation multiplies the materials. "All" uses factor 1.00 — the average piece.
Where the input cost comes from
From the item's average cost, fed by goods receipts. If the input never had a receipt, the screen uses its list price and says so. If it has neither, it marks "no cost" and warns that the price is underestimated — silent zero cost would produce a good-looking price that is a lie.
Percentages come from the company parameters
Hour cost, taxes, commission, margin, fixed expenses and pieces per month are born in Settings ▸ Parameters (group Production, keys PRECO.*). Adjusting here applies to this calculation only; changing there applies to all the next ones.
Frequently asked questions
What does "Save as list price" change?
It writes the suggested price into the reference's "list price" field — what the sales order suggests when selling — and keeps the calculation in the history. "Just keep the calculation" keeps the snapshot without touching the price.
Why is my reference not in the list?
Because it has no active tech pack. Without a tech pack there is no cost to become a price. Register it in Supplies ▸ Tech pack and come back.
I have no tech sheet. Can I still price?
Yes. Choose "Bought for, selling for", enter what you paid and what you charge: the screen shows what is left, the price for the margin you want and how many items a month pay your fixed costs. Taxes come from your regime; open "Taxes and fixed costs" to change them.
