Por que a plataforma não busca esse número sozinha
Because there is no reliable source at the granularity your revenue is in. Public databases measure by economic activity, by export product or by employment — and your revenue here is not broken down by any of those. A share built that way would look precise and the error would stay hidden. The one who knows your market is you.
A fonte é obrigatória, e a data também
Write where the number came from ("union X, Jun/2026 bulletin") and the date OF THE DATA — the bulletin's, not today's. Both always appear right next to the result. Once past your account's month limit, the number gets the OLD DATA badge: it still counts, but whoever reads it knows that the market picture has aged.
Choose what the universe is compared against
Net (management) revenue comes from FINANCE — receivables/payables, DRE, accrual basis. ERP-mirrored sales come from the DOCUMENT — the invoice issued. The two are not the same: a cash sale becomes a receivable in the same month, a credit sale doesn't, and a transfer becomes a document and never becomes a receivable. If your universe was collected from invoices, compare it with the mirrored sales.
Sem universo declarado, não há número — e isso é de propósito
The screen never estimates, never interpolates and never fills in with the sector average. If there's no universe, it says "enter the universe to calculate" and stops there. An invented share is worse than no share at all: you would decide price and target by looking at it with no way of finding out it was wrong.
Passou de 100%? O número não é aparado
If the result goes over 100%, the screen shows it above 100 and asks you to check the universe. Capping it at 100 would hide precisely the signal that the declared market is smaller than reality — or that the breakdown is not the same as your revenue's.
Frequently asked questions
Para que serve, em uma frase
So you know what slice of your market you have — with your real revenue on top, and the size of the market that YOU entered underneath. The calculation is numerator ÷ universe × 100, and the screen shows both ends.
Qual a diferença para o Benchmark setorial
Sector Benchmark compares indicators among the companies on the platform itself, anonymized and only with a sufficient sample. It measures the network, not the market — a competitor that isn't a customer here never enters that calculation. Here the denominator is the market you declared, in full. The two answer different questions.
