All debts in one list
Register each debt with today’s balance, monthly interest and instalments left. The list shows the total, and the top compares two payoff orders using what the household can put in each month: snowball (smallest balance first) and avalanche (highest interest first, which pays less interest).
Port the debt to a lower rate
Open the debt and go to the Credit portability tab. Enter the rate another bank offered (% per month): Tenka shows today’s instalment and the ported instalment, the saving per month and the interest saved to the end, with the same balance and term. Below is the step by step: ask your current bank for the balance and total effective cost, take them to another bank, compare here, accept in the new bank’s app and, after the payoff, update the rate and lender on the record.

How to

Expensive debt now has portability
When a debt is above twice the CDI, Tenka warns you and the record shows how much you save by porting to the rate another bank offered. Ask Tenkai: "is it worth porting my loan?".

Rules

Is paying early worth it?
On the card, the Payoff plan tab shows the table to the end (instalment, interest, principal, balance) and the interest still to pay. Type an amount to prepay: the screen says how much interest you save keeping the instalment (Price) or the principal (SAC) — the term shrinks.
When a debt is expensive
An expensive debt charges interest above twice this month’s CDI, or is revolving card credit — the same rule as the household score. Portability cannot increase the balance or extend the term, so the comparison uses the same balance and remaining instalments. Revolving debt and debt with no term are compared over 24 instalments, the swap banks usually offer.

Frequently asked questions

What about the car loan already on the asset?
A family asset with a financing balance was brought here as a debt linked to it (type Other, zero interest): fill in interest and instalments so the plan is right. Net worth does not count twice — the debt linked to the asset and revolving credit (the bill already counts it) stay out of the debt total.
