Save monthly so it is no surprise
Register each bill that comes once a year with the yearly amount and the month it is due. The household budget then shows “reserved for the year” (the sum of amount ÷ 12 of all active bills) and deducts it from “I can spend today”.

Rules

What counts in the household cost
Each active annual bill’s “save per month” adds to the household fixed cost (“what it costs to be this household”) and to the health score. A bill that no longer exists: untick Active — it leaves the numbers without going to the recycle bin.

Frequently asked questions

And when the bill is due?
In the due month the bill arrives like any other (an entry or a yearly recurring rule). The reserve is the reminder to save beforehand; it posts nothing on its own.
