A cotação é registrada, não inventada
There is no contract to redistribute exchange data, so the quote is recorded by whoever trades — with the SOURCE declared (ESALQ, ICE, B3, CCEE or manual) at each point. Better a short, true series than an automatic number with no backing; when there is a data contract, the provider will write through the same door.

Rules

O prêmio compara com a cotação CONGELADA no fechamento
When a trade is recorded, the most recent quote in the same currency and unit is frozen as the reference. It's what answers "did we buy well?" a year from now — correcting the series later doesn't rewrite past trades. Without a comparable quote, the premium stays open ("—"), never 0%.
Lance de leilão não é contrato
An open trade (under negotiation) stays OUT of the position and of the average cost per MWh. Counting a bid as a contract would push the average cost falsely down — close the trade when the auction settles, and then it starts to count.

Frequently asked questions

How do I track free-market energy?
Choose the commodity Energy (MWh): trades gain a validity period (the window of the contract or of the lot won at auction) and the "Average contracted cost" card weights by volume only what is closed and valid today. Yarn exports come in as a SALE — the position deducts them.
