The knitting records
Machines, production per shift, roll inspection and the article’s yarn recipe feed the knitting panel. Record the yarn lot in production and inspection: it is the link to spinning.

How to

Machine efficiency
Efficiency = hours run ÷ hours available in the shift. Stops explain the difference (broken needle, yarn running out, article change).
Yarn needed for an order
Article with 70% cotton 30/1 and 30% polyester, 3% waste: for 1,000 kg of fabric you need 1,000 × 0.70 ÷ 0.97 = 722 kg of cotton 30/1 and 309 kg of polyester.
Defects with their position on the roll
Open the inspection and use the Defects tab: pick the catalog defect, say at which meter of the roll it is and its points (empty = the catalog points). The position cannot go beyond the inspected length. "Recalculate points" adds the defects into the inspection points.

Rules
