The Apply button only lights up after the step has been confirmed — and the confirmation is recorded with name and time. Meanwhile, the file lives in a staging area: it has already been read, already classified line by line, and has not touched your records.

The there × here check shows four numbers: how many came in the file, how many exist in Tenka, how many exist ONLY in the file and how many exist ONLY in Tenka. The last two are the ones that matter. A thousand and a thousand can be 980 matches plus 20 that came in swapped — and the total does not flag anything.

A column with no clear match, a field the model invented, low confidence, a record that exists only on one side: all of this becomes a pending item with the record's NAME and the reason. Nothing is guessed. You decide item by item — accept, ignore or correct the file — and the decision is recorded with your name.

When you mark a pending item as Ignore, that record does NOT enter Tenka. The screen shows the list of what was discarded with name and reason, and it can be exported to CSV — it is the document you go back to when someone asks, three months later, why an old customer does not appear.

Upload an OFX statement or an NFS-e XML instead of the spreadsheet: the system proposes customers (who pays the company / service taker) and suppliers (who gets paid / provider) for you to review line by line. Untick what does not fit and save only the ticked customers; existing ones are skipped. Suppliers are not saved here yet. Nothing is saved without your tick.

Master records first (customers, suppliers, chart of accounts), then the receivables and payables, and finally the opening balances. It is the order of dependencies: a receivable without a registered customer comes in with no owner, and an account balance posted before the receivables and payables counts the same money twice. The screen follows this order and says what is still missing.

Each applied step keeps the link to what it wrote, so you can undo the batch without touching what was entered by hand afterwards. Undoing is also audited.
