Unidades do grupo

A árvore do seu grupo: agrupadores e empresas em quantos níveis você precisar. É o nó desta árvore que as telas de resultado e de caixa usam para consolidar.

Start here

Para que serve esta árvore
Groups with several companies rarely add up "everything" or "just one": they add up blocks. Here you draw those blocks once — head offices, branches, inactive units — and the results and cash screens start offering each node as a consolidation option.

How to

Changing the country of a live account is a big decision
A node with a linked COMPANY represents a CNPJ and brings its numbers. A node WITHOUT a company is just a grouper — it has no data of its own, it only adds up what's below it. That's how you create a level like "Head-office accounting companies", which isn't a company and needs to exist in the reading.
Um desenho típico
All → "Head-office accounting" (grouper) → the three companies with a CNPJ; alongside, "Branches" (grouper) → the branches; and an "Inactive" block at the end. With this, finance chooses "Head-office accounting" and sees the three added up, without touching any filter.

Rules

O pai é escolhido, não deduzido do código
The hierarchy comes from the link you define in "Move", never from the code. That's on purpose: in real structures a unit with one block's code often belongs to another, inherited from old records. If the system deduced it by the prefix, it would be added up in the wrong place without showing any error.
Cada empresa vive em UM nó
The same company can't be linked to two active nodes. The lock exists because consolidation adds up the subtree: with the CNPJ in two places, "All" would count the company twice and the number would come out inflated, plausible and wrong. To move a company, unlink it from the old node first.
One core, many countries
Deactivating a node removes it and its descendants from the selectors and consolidations, without losing history — it's the place for closed companies. They remain visible here with "Show inactive". Reactivating a child whose parent is still inactive warns you: it stays out of the totals until the parent comes back.
Where this screen lives in the menu
Group units lives in Records and settings ▸ Finance, next to "Center structure" and "Nature structure" — all three answer the same question: what structure do I consolidate by. Whoever draws the group's tree is the controllership, not the platform administrator.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to create a unit?
No. Units are optional: they only group companies in reports (consolidated management P&L and cash flow) and in the top filter. No operations screen depends on them. If you have one or two companies and do not consolidate reports, you can go on without creating a unit.
