Receiving imported fibre
Each fibre lot that arrives (polyester, viscose, modal, imported cotton) goes through the lab: count, cut length, tenacity, elongation, shrinkage and spin finish — or HVI for cotton. The result approves, approves with restriction or rejects the lot and counts in the supplier score.

Rules

Same yardstick as the domestic supplier
The foreign supplier enters the score with the same rule as the domestic bale: a rejected lot weighs like a report outside the clause. That is how “cheaper per kg” stops hiding “more expensive on the floor”.

Frequently asked questions

Where do I see the imported cost per kg?
In the import process (Comex): the landed cost per kg already includes the computed anti-dumping. Tenkai answers “how much does imported polyester cost per kg?” comparing with the equivalent domestic cost, when there is one.
