The buyer’s three questions
How many months of cotton do I have (coverage)? How much of the next quarter is still unpriced (exposure)? What does the position cost me? The cockpit answers all three with bale stock, contracts to deliver, the real consumption of laydowns and the indicator registered in Commodities.

How to

The numbers on top, the records below
The panel’s indicators stay at the top; below, the standard list with the records behind them — search, filters in the side panel, saved views, columns and export. Click a record to open its form.

Rules

Real consumption, not a spreadsheet
Monthly consumption is the average of the last 90 days of closed laydowns (bale weight). Without 90 days of history, the Cotton consumption per month parameter applies. Coverage by category uses the share of each micronaire category in recent laydowns — buying “cotton” is not enough: you need the fineness the yarn asks for.

Frequently asked questions

And the supplier score?
The score (0 to 100) combines four things per supplier over the last 12 months: delivered report × clause, contamination per tonne, delivery punctuality and premium paid against the indicator. Weights are in the Score weights parameter. The ranking shows at the end of the cockpit and when choosing whom to buy from.
