Settings by lot
Spindle speed, twist, draft, ring and traveller for each yarn on each ring frame and lot. Best practice is the one the mill marks; without a mark, the lot with the lowest CVm in its report.
Rules
Lot change alert
When you save a new setting, Tenka compares it with best practice: speed beyond 5%, twist or draft beyond 3%, a different ring or traveller become the lot change alert. It does not block: you may be testing.
Frequently asked questions
The lot change alert appeared. Do I need to fix something?
Not necessarily: the alert says the new setting moves away from best practice (speed beyond 5%, twist or draft beyond 3%, different ring or traveler). If it is a test, save and follow the lab report; if it was a typo, correct it.
