The restricted chemicals list
Each stock chemical against the ZDHC MRSL list: ZDHC level, restricted substance and CAS, and the status. Blocked cannot enter a recipe, weighing or addition; restricted is used with a warning. The safety data sheet goes in the record's attachments, with revision and expiry.

Old recipe with a blocked chemical
If a chemical is blocked after it went into a recipe, the dyehouse screen shows that recipe in the Restricted chemicals section: replace the item with the compliant substitute before the next weighing.
Frequently asked questions
Why doesn’t the chemical show in the weighing?
It is blocked on the restricted chemicals list: a blocked chemical does not go into recipes, weighings or additions. Use the compliant substitute; a restricted one goes in with a warning.
