How to use
1. Open the lot in the dyehouse and go to additions. 2. Choose the chemical, the quantity, the reason for the correction and who authorized it. 3. Save: the chemical leaves stock and goes into the lot’s actual cost.
Rules
An addition takes the batch out of right-first-time
Each bath correction issues the chemical from stock, goes into the batch's actual cost and stops the batch counting as right-first-time, even if approved. Always give the reason and who authorised it.
Frequently asked questions
The lot was approved. Why doesn’t it count as right first time?
Because it had an addition: any bath correction takes the lot out of right first time, even when approved. That is how the indicator shows how much is corrected at the machine.
