What is tested, where and when
The plan tells the lab what to measure at each stage: AFIS (neps and short fibre) at blowroom and card, mass CV at drawframe and roving, count, twist, evenness, imperfections, hairiness and strength on the yarn, clearer cuts at winding.

A starter plan
A lean plan for knitting yarn: AFIS neps at the card per shift; count and CVm at ring frame per shift (4 bobbins); IPI and hairiness per lot; RKM and elongation per lot (20 breaks); clearer cuts at winding daily.
Rules
An overdue test becomes a warning
When a plan parameter goes without a report beyond its frequency (a shift, a day, a lot), Tenkai shows it in “Needs you” — nobody finds out from the customer complaint that the test was not done.
