What the imported yarn costs on arrival
For each origin: (FOB + freight + insurance) × PTAX × (1 + II) + anti-dumping × PTAX + clearance costs = the imported yarn landed here, in R$/kg. Compared with our price it gives the protection: positive, the import is dearer; negative, it wins.
How to
Lead time also protects
Imports take 60 to 90 days from order to arrival; our yarn leaves the mill in days. Record each origin’s lead time — in negotiation, short lead time and a traced lot are worth price.
Rules
Suspended anti-dumping counts as zero
If the anti-dumping duty for that origin is suspended in the catalogue, enter zero in the parity anti-dumping — that is what the importer pays today. Without today’s PTAX, the landed cost stays blank.
