Labor accrual

Accumulates month by month what the company owes for the 13th-month bonus, vacation, and payroll charges, even without having paid it. An accrual is not cash: it's a debt that grows silently — ignoring it makes the result look better than it is.

When it is worth tracking by serial number
When you need to answer "where is THIS unit", and not just "how many do I have". Equipment that goes into the customer's hands, enters warranty or comes back for repair needs a serial number; screws and labels don't. The serial number is what lets you say, months later, that the defective device is the same one that left on that invoice.
Para que esta tela existe
The record of serialized physical units: each unit of an item (the model) becomes its own record, with serial number and status (available, rented, in maintenance, written off). It's by serial number that rentals see availability and the installed base at the customer. — this is the role of the "Serialized units" screen within the platform.

How to

Bem do imobilizado: opcional de propósito
The "Fixed asset" field links the serialized unit to the corresponding asset in the asset register — it's the bridge between rentals and fixed assets. It's optional by design, not by oversight: a resale unit or equipment on loan from the customer has no asset owned by the company, and in those cases "No own asset" is the right answer. When the unit IS one of your assets, make the link: it's what ties the serial's history (rentals, maintenance) to the asset's history in the register.
Standard list and form
The screen became the standard list: search, filters, saved views, columns, export and trash with Undo. Click the record (or New) to open the form, with the detail tabs when there are any.

Rules

The four states, and what each means for the balance
AVAILABLE is with you and can go out. RENTED/AT CUSTOMER is outside, in someone's possession — still yours, but can't be promised to anyone else. MAINTENANCE is at the repair shop: it explains why the shelf has one unit fewer than the system, so the inventory should treat it as an expected difference, not a loss. WRITTEN OFF has left the company's assets for good.

Frequently asked questions

Does the series match the stock panel balance?
Not necessarily, and it's not a defect. The balance counts quantity in the warehouse; the serial number follows the unit wherever it is, including outside. A unit RENTED at the customer is not in the warehouse balance and still appears here — that difference is exactly what this screen exists to show. If the number doesn't reconcile and no serial is outside or in maintenance, then there really is a posting error to look for.
