Instalments, first due date and interval
Each term says how many instalments the sale is split into, in how many days the first is due and how many days separate them: 30/60/90 = 3 instalments, first in 30, interval 30. When the order is invoiced, one receivable is created per instalment; the cents left over go to the last one.
Rules
Terms that come from the ERP
With the integration on, the ERP terms arrive with the external code. They are read-only and cannot go to the recycle bin: the next sync would undo the change. To stop using them here, deactivate them in the ERP or mark them as inactive.
Frequently asked questions
I changed a term. What about the orders?
Invoicing reads the term at the moment of invoicing: an order not yet invoiced with that term comes out with the new instalments; what was already invoiced keeps the receivables it created. An inactive term leaves the dropdown, but the order that uses it keeps it.
