What you find on this screen

A portrait of the screen, read from the screen itself — it changes when the screen changes.

NomeComo o cenário é chamado na comparação. É por ele que se distingue uma hipótese da outra.
DescriçãoA hipótese que este cenário testa, em palavras.
TipoNatureza do cenário simulado: base, otimista, pessimista, investimento.
Horizonte (meses)Por quantos meses o cenário projeta. Comparar horizontes diferentes distorce o resultado.

Compare paths
Up to four scenarios side by side. The number that matters most is not each one's best case: it is the worst — because the decision usually depends on which path you survive if it goes wrong.
Para que esta tela existe
Scenarios side by side, with the worst case on display. When the compared scenarios only change the volume of the same lever, the screen warns you: the comparison pays off more when one of the paths is structurally different — what if the biggest customer leaves, what if the collection period doubles. — this is the role of the "Compare scenarios" screen within the platform.

How to

As cinco linhas de cada cartão
Each compared scenario shows: ending cash (where the path ends up), worst cash over the horizon (rock bottom — in red if negative), months with negative cash (how many times the path crosses zero), levers (how many decisions the scenario changes) and status. The worst case on display is the point of the screen: two scenarios with the same ending cash can have very different rock bottoms — and it is rock bottom, not the average, that breaks the company.

Rules

Cenários que só mudam de volume não são cenários diferentes
If the paths being compared move the same kind of lever, you are comparing the same plan with different numbers. The comparison pays off more when one of the scenarios is structurally different: what if the biggest customer leaves? what if the collection period doubles?
A seleção de cenários acontece na lista, não aqui
This screen compares the scenarios selected for comparison on the Scenarios screen — if none was selected, it shows the notice and the way forward is to go back ("Back to scenarios"), check the scenarios and compare again. Heed the tip in the yellow notice: the comparison pays off more when one of the paths is structurally different (what if the biggest customer leaves? what if the collection period doubles?), not just the same move at a larger volume.

Frequently asked questions

Que pergunta do dia a dia se responde aqui
"Which path is better, and which one breaks if it goes wrong?" — when this question comes up, this is the screen that answers it.
Um cartão diz "sem projeção" — e agora?
The comparison uses each scenario's calculated projection; if one of them has never been projected, the card says "no projection" and points the way: open the scenario and click Project. Go back through the screen itself ("Back to scenarios" button), project and return to the comparison — the numbers appear. Comparing a projected scenario with an unprojected one would be comparing a number with a guess, and the screen prefers to say so rather than hide the gap.
