What you see
The Journal lists, in date order, every entry for the month with its description and its debit and credit lines. It's the chronological snapshot of the accounting.
Para que esta tela existe
Accounting entries in chronological order (Journal book). — this is the role of the "Journal" screen within the platform.

How to

Trocar o mês e exportar o Diário
The arrows next to the month label navigate to the previous and next month without leaving the screen. The CSV and PDF buttons download the Journal for the month displayed, entry by entry. The screen obeys the profile's view values permission: without it, entries aren't displayed. When the month has no entries, the screen warns you — use the arrows to reach the period with activity instead of wondering at the empty page.

Rules

Double-entry
In every entry, the sum of debits equals the sum of credits. Every source of funds (credit) has a use (debit).

Frequently asked questions

Where they come from
Journal entries are not typed here: they are born from the platform's modules, and each entry shows its origin next to the period, along with the description. Within each entry, the lines appear account by account with debit and credit in separate columns — the caption at the bottom of each block indicates which column is which. That's why the Journal serves as an audit trail: to find out where a number came from, read the origin of the line and look for the document in the module that generated it.
