Publishing takes the STRUCTURE, never your data
What gets uploaded is the report design: columns, filters, calculation. The numbers you see when you use it always come from YOUR database. No data from your company travels along with the template.

A report can carry internal vocabulary in its column headings — the name of a strategic customer, a project nickname, a segment label. Review the labels before publishing: the calculation is public, and they go along with it.

Because every template goes through CURATION before entering the showcase: when you publish, your report enters the "under curation" queue, and a platform curator approves or rejects it. Only after approval does it appear in "Available templates" for other participants to install. The showcase shows the author and the number of installations of each template; "Install in my account" copies the report structure to your environment.
