What this screen is
How YOUR INDUSTRY behaves, indicator by indicator (average collection period, average margin, average ticket), based on an ANONYMIZED aggregate of the network — one average per company, never anyone's row. 🔴 The sector figure is only published with at least 30 companies in the sample (k-anonymity), and the n is always in view. Below 30, the number is NOT shown: the sector enters only as an internal reference, with the weight stated — never as a claim that "your sector does X". A lying number destroys more trust than the absence of a number. Read-only.

How to

Take part in the comparison
The Take part in the comparison button turns the account's participation on: its indicators start to count, as one anonymous point, in the industry's median and quartiles, and the comparison appears to the account's users from the next daily calculation. Stopping removes the account from the following calculation and hides the comparison. Only people who can edit this screen see the button, and nothing starts switched on without that choice.

Rules

Benchmark só com amostra mínima e sempre agregado
O setor só mostra indicador quando há empresas suficientes para ninguém ser identificado; abaixo disso aparece "amostra insuficiente". A sua posição é mostrada só para você.
Peer comparison: median and quartiles
At the top of the screen, an account that takes part sees, for each indicator of its industry, the median and the 1st and 3rd quartiles of the accounts that also take part, its own value and the range it falls in: below the 1st quartile, between the 1st quartile and the median, between the median and the 3rd quartile, or above the 3rd quartile. The range turns green when it is on the good side of the indicator (higher margin and ticket, shorter collection period and lower loss) and yellow when it needs attention. Each account counts as a single anonymous point, and the calculation runs once a day.

Frequently asked questions

Which question this screen answers
How YOUR INDUSTRY behaves, indicator by indicator — and whether the sample can be trusted. Each number is an ANONYMIZED aggregate of the network (average per company, never anyone's row) and is only published with at least 30 companies in the sample; the n is always in view. Below 30, the number doesn't appear: the sector enters as an internal reference with the weight stated, never as a claim that "your sector does X". The screen is read-only — a lying number destroys more trust than its absence.
What this screen answers
Because the number is only published when at least 30 distinct companies have contributed to that breakdown. Below that, showing the average would almost be showing the data of whoever contributed — with 3 or 4 companies, the "sector average" is practically the neighbor's number. We'd rather say we don't have the number than publish a fragile one: a lying number destroys more trust than its absence.
Os meus dados ficam expostos aqui?
No. Your company enters as ONE POINT: first we calculate your average, and only that average goes into the sector or region calculation — never a customer, a receivable or an invoice of yours. The tables behind these panels don't even keep the company's identification, so going back from the number to whoever contributed is impossible by construction, not by promise.
What this screen answers
Once a day, by an automatic routine. It recalculates the current period and replaces the previous value — running it again on the same day doesn't duplicate anything. When there isn't enough activity, the routine simply doesn't publish, and the panel keeps saying that the sample is insufficient.
Why does it say "waiting for 5 accounts" instead of a number?
Because an indicator only shows a number when at least k accounts in the same industry take part in the comparison — k is 5 by default and can only go up. With fewer accounts, the median would almost be a neighbour's number; so the screen shows "waiting for k participating accounts" and no number. This is different from the sector average further down the screen, which only appears with 30 companies.
