How to
De 5 a 30 dias — e o 13º pode vir junto
The days selector moves in steps of 5, between 5 and 30: these are the usual splits for time off (5, 10, 15, 20, 25 or 30 days). Choose the start date and the number of days; the end is calculated. The "Advance the 1st installment of the 13th salary" box requests the advance together with the request — this is when you tick it, not after approval. Your manager is the one who approves, and the status of each request appears in the "My requests" list just below, with the interval and number of days of each one.
Rules
Antes de 1 ano de casa não há período aquisitivo
The right to vacation arises after 12 months of employment. Before that the screen explains and does not allow a request — it is not a bug: there is simply no complete accrual period to use yet.
Solicitar não é ter aprovado
The request goes into your manager's and HR's queue. Until it is approved, it is an intention — it does not block the calendar, does not generate payment and can be declined or negotiated for another date. Approval happens in the system, on the Vacation screen.
