How to
Recurring: enter it once, it counts every year
A holiday marked as Recurring repeats every year on the same date — this is the case for fixed national holidays, such as January 1st and Christmas. Without the flag, the holiday applies only to the date entered, which is right for movable holidays (Carnival, Corpus Christi) and for optional days off decided year by year. Date and Name identify the holiday; the Description is free text and serves to record the origin — municipal law, internal agreement.
Rules
Esta é uma tela de apoio — o caminho normal é pelo cadastro principal
Here you see and fix loose child records, one by one. In day-to-day work, however, the right thing is to create and edit them inside the parent record's form: that is where the business rules run (recalculated totals, validations, numbering, history). Editing directly here is useful for auditing and for correcting a specific case — but it can leave the parent record with an outdated total, and that raises no error on screen.
Os feriados que o calendário considera
A registered holiday is left out of the business-day count: it affects SLA deadlines, team capacity and vacation calculation. Register municipal holidays too — they are the ones usually missing, throwing deadlines out of line with reality.
A visão salva guarda busca, filtros, colunas e ordenação
When you save a view with the Views button, it stores four things: the search text, the applied filters, which columns appear (and in what order) and which column the list is sorted by. Applying the view restores everything at once — including resetting the sort and the page you were on, so the result is exactly what the view describes. Views saved before this version remain valid: whatever they didn't store simply doesn't change when applied.
It is a support screen: it exists to give names and meaning to the fields of the holiday detail, which you edit inside the calendar record. The normal path is HR, Calendars, open the calendar and use the holidays tab. Look for this screen only when you need the meaning of a field — holiday maintenance always happens in the main calendar record.
Como descobrir quem mudou um campo desta ficha?
Open the record and look at the Timeline on the right: it shows each change as "from one value to another", with the person and the date. When there are many changes, use the two filters at the top of the timeline — one by field, the other by person. The search runs in the database, so old changes show up just the same. You can also ask Tenkai: "who changed contract 482?".
