What the License royalties screen is for
It shows all the company’s brand and character licenses: minimum guarantee, accumulated royalty, excess already accrued, artwork awaiting opinion and free seals. Click the property to open the contract on the License and royalties tab, where the statement, artwork, seals and the report to the licensor live.
How to
How to use
1. In the license contract (License and royalties tab), enter the licensor, the basis (per piece or % of revenue) and the minimum guarantee. 2. Send each artwork for the licensor’s approval before selling. 3. At the end of the period, settle: Tenka adds up pieces sold, deducts returns and shows the excess over the minimum. 4. Come back here to see all licenses side by side.
Frequently asked questions
Why doesn’t the accrued royalty match the licensor’s report?
The accrued amount adds up pieces sold minus returns since the last settlement; the licensor closes by period. Open the contract on the License and royalties tab and compare the settlement for the same period before disputing.
Tenkai's link opened only one contract of the license. Is that right?
Yes: each line of the answer leads to that line's contract. When the same brand or character has two contracts, there are two links, each filtering the screen by the contract number. To see all the brand's contracts, clear the filter or search by the brand name.
