I spent something

Take a photo of the receipt: amount, date and place come in by themselves; you choose the category and what you paid with, check and save. No photo? Type it. The expense enters the category envelope right away.

Tap “Scan receipt QR” and point the camera at the consumer receipt QR: the store and, on the offline QR, the amount come in — and the same receipt is never entered twice. The microphone understands “gastei 38,90 na farmácia” and fills amount and description (the category comes from your rules). From your number linked to Tenka on WhatsApp, the same phrase becomes a proposal with category, for whom and payment; reply CONFIRMAR and the code.

Paid with an account: an expense entry is created and already settled in that account — the money left. Paid with a card: the purchase enters the open statement of the card and the money only leaves when the statement closes and becomes a payable. In both cases the category feeds the envelope.

"For whom" already comes with your default; change it when you record for someone else. Paid by card in several installments: each installment goes to its own month statement.

It is the opening balance of each account plus everything settled in it up to today. An account with no opening balance calculates from zero — set the opening balance in the account record so the number matches the bank.
