Sandbox
How to get access and test without touching production.
The sandbox is a server separate from production, on the same version, with demo data that returns to its initial state every week. That is where you build and test the whole integration, writes included, with no risk to the company real data. Nothing leaves the sandbox: e-mail, WhatsApp, billing, invoices and webhooks are recorded as blocked.
How to get access
- Ask the account administrator (or sign in with a profile that can manage keys) and open Settings › API keys, in production.
- Click "Generate sandbox key". The key starts with tnk_sbx_ and is shown only once: keep it in a secrets vault.
- Point the base address of your integration to the sandbox address below and send the key as usual (Authorization: Bearer).
- When the integration is ready, generate a production key and switch address and key. The code does not change: the contract is the same.

Never use the production key for testing: if it leaks from the test environment, it opens the company real data. The sandbox key only opens demo data.
