Start here

The field only your company needs
Pick the table (customers, suppliers, items, contracts… — any record you can reach), name the field and choose its type. It shows on the table form, becomes a list column and filter, goes out in exports and BI, and Tenkai answers about it.

How to

Cost centre on the customer
Table: Customers · Name: Cost centre · Type: List of options · Options: Sales|Industrial|Retail · Required. The customer list gets the column, the "Cost centre" filter in the side panel, and the export already carries the value.
What a sensitive field protects
For anyone without "See Values", a field marked sensitive shows as ••• in the form, the list, PDF, Excel and CSV, and BI; it cannot be used as a filter (not even by link or saved view) and is left out of the automatic draft. Tenkai does not read its value for anyone.
Ask Tenkai about your fields
Ask "which fields did we create in Customers?" to see the fields of a table, or "how many customers by Cost center?" (the field label) to count records by value. Both questions are answered even when the AI is unavailable. A field marked as sensitive is not read by Tenkai: it says the field exists and points you to the screen, with the "View Values" permission.

Rules

Required does not save empty
With "Required" on, the form will not save while the field is empty — including when editing an old record. A required field also cannot be hidden by each person’s preference.
Sensitive stays out of Tenkai
A field marked sensitive never goes to Tenkai and shows as ••• in the list, export and BI for anyone without the "See Values" permission. Use it for tax IDs, salary, bank details and similar data.

Frequently asked questions
